How to Import a Website in KeaBuilder
Importing a website in KeaBuilder is a quick and seamless process. Whether you want to move your existing website to another account, share it with a team member, or duplicate it for a new project, you can easily do so using a Transfer Token. Follow the step-by-step guide below:
Step 1: Login to KeaBuilder
- Visit KeaBuilder and log in with your credentials.
- Once logged in, you’ll automatically land on the Main Dashboard where you can manage all your websites and projects.
Step 2: Access the Website Section
- From the Vertical Menu on the left-hand side, scroll down and click on Websites.
- This will take you to the Website Management Section, where you’ll find a list of all the websites you’ve created in your account.
Step 3: Select the Website to Share
- Locate the website you want to import into another location or account.
- Under the selected website, you’ll find a “Share” option — click on it.
Step 4: Generate & Copy the Transfer Token
- After clicking “Share”, a popup window will open showing a unique Transfer Token.
- This token is like a secure key that authorizes the transfer of your website.
- Copy the Transfer Token carefully and keep it handy, as you’ll need it for the import process.
Tip: Never share your Transfer Token publicly. Only provide it to trusted accounts or team members.
Step 5: Initiate the Website Import
- Below the Horizontal Menu in the Website section, locate the “Import Website” button (represented by an Up-Arrow icon).
- Click on it to begin the import process.
Step 6: Enter the Transfer Token
- A new popup window will appear, prompting you to enter the Transfer Token.
- Paste the token you copied earlier into the field and click Submit.
Step 7: Complete the Import Process
- Once the token is verified, KeaBuilder will automatically import your website into the new location or linked account.
- You’ll receive a confirmation message once the process is successfully completed.
Important Notes
- You can import websites across different accounts, making it ideal for agencies, developers, or collaborative projects.
- Imported websites include all pages, templates, media files, and design elements — saving you the hassle of recreating anything manually.
- Ensure that the receiving account has sufficient permissions to accept the imported website.
